Great news on the immigration front - Perth is now part of the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme. In the past regional programmes included only areas away from capital cities, regions with low population, where it was difficult for businesses to find skilled work force.

But with Western Australia economy booming, Perth needs more highly qualified workers.

With applications under the regional migration programmes being processed quicker than other applications and with Perth a great city to live in, this is really good news for anyone who wants to relocate to Australia.

The new change does not apply only to skilled people being sponsored by businesses but also by family members living in Perth.
