Sydney Opera House

Any picture of Sydney Harbor and that Opera House, now brings a small smile to my face. It's the one Australian fact that my dear Mum couldn't talk enough about.
They flew out to Australia to be with our rellies in 2004. Spending Christmas and New Year with Auntie Wendy. Whilst out and about in Australia, which both Mum and Dad adored, they beheld many of the famous or rather infamous sights.
However it's Sydney Harbor that won the first prize, at least as far as my Mum went. I think there were 3 rolls of film taken. I think there is a shot of that Opera House near every second or third photo!
She was the biggest fan of differing architecture, and had always wanted to go and see the Opera House. She did, she achieved it. We didn't know at the time, that this would be the only time that she'd see the Opera House, for she was diagnosed with cancer some 18 months or so later. Unfortunately she lost her battle in October 2006, leaving at the time 3 Grandchildren.
Her 4th Grandchild was born this year, and I have spent time collating some memories together of my Mum. It is such a shame that the only way he'll know his Grandmother is through memorabilia, but it will be including just a few photo's of Sydney, and that Opera House!!
