Shopping in Sydney has become much more exciting with the re-opening of the Pitt Street Mall.
Six level of fashion, beauty, style, food and entertainment. Not all of them were ready to open on the launch day, at the end of October 2010 so the expectation is building to see what else will be on offer.
Some of the shops are bringing new brands to Australia, for example Zara (not yet open) or Gap.
Just in the middle of the City. It is located on the Pitt Street Mall strip, below the Sydney Tower.
It is surrounded by other shops: Meyer and the 2 buildings of the David Jones department stores, on Market Street and Castlereagh Street.
All these buildings are interconnected. There's bridge access from one to the other so you can shop till you drop. Everything is at your fingertips, to make it easier for you to spend your money.
To get to the new shopping heaven, hop on the Cityrail and get off at Town Hall. Exit on George street and pass along Queen Victoria building, turn right to Market Street and follow the crowds... or look for the Sydney Tower. You can also go by bus.
About everything you can think of: fashion and accessories, beauty, luxury stores, homewares, furnishings, restaurants, cafes, food court, gifts, gadgets, books, music, entertainment.

Level one has mobile phones retailers, hair and beauty stores, homeware and gift shops.
Level 2, which is actually the ground floor, hosts fashion, footwear, jewellery, with brands such as Gap, Zara, Guess, Cue, Esprit, Nine West, Zu, Ecco.
Levels three and four host more fashion and luxury brands: Carla Zampatti, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Sass and Bide.
Shopping attracts more shopping and competition is so good for us, shoppers.
