Kylie Minogue is one of the most applauded Australian celebrities. Her career spans over more than 20 years, with great hits, almost always in the top, great concerts and amazing tours that have earned her the title of Pop Princess.

Kylie began acting during her teenage years on various television shows including the long running series "Neighbours" which helped launch the career of other Australian singers such as Delta Goodrem, Natalie Imbruglia, Natalie Bathingsthwaite or actors Russell Crowe.

Getting a role on this show proved extremely beneficial for Kylie. She received a Golden Logie award for the most popular personality on Australian television in 1988.

Her 1987 highly successful single "Locomotion" marked the start of a brilliant career. The 1988 album "Kylie" topped the charts and sold millions of copies in the UK.

The Pop Princess continued to release hit after hit and her popularity reached amazing heights.

She played in a couple of films such as "Streetfighter" next to Jean Claude Van Damme in 1994 or Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge" in 2001.

In 2000, Kylie released "Spinning Around" which went straight to the top in UK and Australia.

In the same year she closed the Sydney Olympic Games performing ABBA’s "Dancing Queen".

Later in 2001, the artist put up a spectacular tour in UK, Europe and Australia. She continued to sing and perform till she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.

Kylie took a year off for treatment. She had to cancel her Australian "Showgirl" tour but returned with "Showgirl Homecoming" in November 2006.

A new world tour, "Kylie X" in 2008 took her to 21 European countries, South America, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

Keith Urban, singer, guitarist and songwriter, is born in New Zealand, educated in Australia and lives in Nashville, USA.

He started to learn to sing and play the guitar at a very young age. His talent was noticed quickly and rewarded during the Country Music Festivals, held annually in Tamworth, New South Wales with a number of awards for performances as a singer or guitarist.

His first solo album recorded by EMI in 1990 rose to the top of the charts in Australia, New Zealand and Germany.

Keith Urban has been working in the USA since 1992, as part of various bands or performing solo.

He kick started his solo career with the album "Keith Urban" in 1999, and became famous in 2002 with the single "Somebody Like You" included in the album "Golden Road".

Tours in the USA and Europe followed, and more awards in Australia – the ARIAs, and USA - Grammy and Country Music Association awards.

"Golden Road" and other albums: "Be Here" (2004), "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing" (2005) have sold millions of copies, winning him many platinum discs.

He released the album "Defying Gravity" in 2009.

Keith was nominated for four Country Music Association of Australia awards and won the favourite male country artist American Music award in 2009.

Keith Urban is married to Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
